Decades ago, the last train made its way along a rail line that took people from the town of Abingdon and into the Virginia Highlands. Today, that route is a National Trail drawing more than 100,000 riders, hikers and horseback riders.
Tucked away on the south side of the Tennessee River lies an amazing stretch of wilderness and it's easy to find the key to it all with just a short hike.
